This Privacy Policy explains what data Cineva ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and video-generation service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the Service and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Data we collect

• Account data. When you sign up, our authentication provider collects your email address and basic profile details (such as name and avatar, if you sign in with a social account). We receive a user identifier and that profile.
• Waitlist data. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can send your invitation.
• Content. The prompts, scripts, and reference media you submit, and the video, image, and audio files generated for you.
• Payment data. Purchases are processed by our payment provider. We receive order details (what you bought, when, and for how much) and a customer reference; we never receive or store your card number.
• Usage and technical data. Render history, credit balance and transactions, and server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

2. How we use data

• To provide the Service: run generations, store results, and show your history.
• To manage accounts, the waitlist, credits, and purchases.
• To keep the Service safe: moderating prompts, preventing fraud and abuse, and securing our infrastructure.
• To communicate with you about your account, invitations, and material changes.
• To debug problems and improve the product using aggregate usage patterns.

We do not use your prompts or generated media to train our own AI models, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

3. Who processes your data

The Service is built on a small set of processors that handle data on our behalf:

• Clerk — authentication, account management, and the waitlist.
• Polar — payment processing and order management.
• fal.ai and OpenRouter — AI model providers that receive your prompts and reference media to produce generations.
• Cloudflare — application hosting and storage of generated media.
• InsForge — our application database (projects, credits, render history).

Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its function, under its own privacy and security commitments. Your data may be processed in the countries where these providers operate.

4. Retention

• Generated media is automatically deleted from our storage approximately 30 days after creation. Download anything you want to keep.
• Account and project data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account deletion.
• Payment records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal obligations.
• Server logs are kept for a short rolling window for security and debugging.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in (set by our authentication provider) and to protect the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account from within the app, or exercise any of these rights by emailing support@cineva.app. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, secrets are kept server-side, inbound webhooks are cryptographically verified, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. For material changes we will give notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
